I removed SpyShield Full in Add/Remove but it still comes up when I reboot.

A quick suggestion if all else fails:  Find the exact file used to start up the spyshield process, rename it with a different extension, and the bug should stay dormant/dead in most cases.

If you have something really consistent, its best to google away for ____ uninstall process, if you know the exact .exe process running in Task manager, it makes the search go 10 times faster.

Just don't get suckered into those tech forums that require paid stuff.

Computing.net is a nice place to start if you have to ask around, as are the HijackThis forums.

Thank you weezy.
I gave up and uninstalled the Registry Patrol and now everything is OK.
