Welcome to the 3.52m33 section for psp themes. Theses themes require flashing. I'm not responsible for anyone bricking thier psp so use these themes and flash at your own risk
How to flash on 3.52 M33:
There are two ways to put custom themes on your PSP.
To flash a theme on your PSP you need a Custom Firmware[/b]

Flashing Manually: (best way!)
1. Go into Recovery Mode (Press R on Power Up)
2. Connect your USB cable to your PSP
3. Select Advanced and Toggle Flash0
4. Download your wanted theme from here
5. Overwrite the original files in flash0 with the custom files in the download
6. Make sure you flash every file, leaving files/folders out may leave your PSP semi-bricked or the theme not to work properly
7. Once your done copying and overwriting all files and folders Exit Recovery Mode
8. Enjoy the theme


Theme Cycler:

Note: Theme Cycler deletes all the stuff that's not important in flash0 and you'll have 5-7 MB of free space.

1. Make a folder named themes on the root of your memory stick (X:/themes) X being the name of your Drive
2. Download your theme from here and put the content of that downloaded file in the themes folder
3. Run the Theme Cycler from Game -> Memory Stick
4. Flash and enjoy the new theme

I hope this helps some people out.

How to use on 3.70+ Sony Official and 3.71 M33 firmwares:

- You DON'T have to mess around with your PSP's flash to get it working.
- Simply put it in PSP/THEME and select it from the theme menu. Its that easy. Enjoy!

Im only posting this for the people who want to make there own stuff
This was very unexpected but Sony has released a Custom XMB theme maker! Be sure to read the PDF included in attached download. From what I hear this does work with the new firmwares... give feedback via comments.

Welcome to "MY Mega XMB Thread" this thread contains every single ptf file every amde and released to the internet. a ptf file was created by song which allows you to have different themes than that boring theme. also added to that someof you may know that before you needed to flash your psp to get a psp theme now you dont just create a folder in PSP>(called theme). Place only ptf files in there and you need a fimware 3.71 it can be modded or official and also you can have as much ptf files in that theme folder as you want just hvae the space. if any one has a theme that i dont have please pm me and ill put it in here.Lastly if anyone needs help pm me i know all about ptf files, themes and psp stuff but please dont ask to upgrade and downgrade psp because i dont want to be responsible for your psp bricking. also added some thems arent ptf so watch carfulley for the fiel name before download in or so

ClearXMB Black and Soft Black and mixed them together so they will work on 3.80 M33.
Soft Black is only for 3.52 M33, but I've made it so it will work on 3.80 M33.

What Have Been Done

• This mixed theme works on 3.80 M33
• Added a 3 color wave gameboot.
• Font: The one from clearXMB Black

-I have found all the missing shadow positions and centered the important ones that wouldnt take away from the feel of everything in the prx and the rco.
-Topmenu_icon.rco now has compressed images except for the radio image so theres an extra 200kb of flash spaced saved
-PRX Compressed by Don have been swapped into the zip file for your psp1001 users
-Highres 01-12.bmp still do not work due to rco being complex
-Network Update Reboot icon has been removed to allow for Dark_Alex updates
-I have included a tex_reboot.bmp and reboot_plugin.prx so you can change whatever icon you want to reboot from with rcoedit 1.15c
-I have choosen to only use the system font, due to web browsing and some games using that font.

Smiley Face Tutorial, Learn how to make an easy, glossy smiley
1. Create a new transparent canvas, 100 x 100 pixels (Resolution=72). Set your colours to default (D).

2. Use the elliptical marquee tool (M) to draw a circle as big as you would like (40 x 40 pixels should be good enough). Remember to hold shift while dragging so that the circle can be perfect.

3. Use the following blending options:

Outer Glow



Bevel and Emboss



Gradient Overlay



Stroke


4. This is what your face should look like right now:



5. Now let's add the features. Make a new layer. Begin with the eyes; select the line tool (U) and set the weight to 2 pixels. While holding shift, make a short diagnal line. Now create a diagnal line that goes the opposite way. This will form a triangle with no bottom line. Use the image below to help you. Rasterize this layer and make another copy of it so that you can use it for the second eye.



6. Make a new layer. Make an ellipse using the elliptical marquee tool (M) (It should be the size of the mouth that you would like it to be). Now hold Alt and draw another ellipse partially over the first one. This will cut off the extra part of the circle that you don't need so that the mouth will look like a banana. Fill in the mouth. Use this image to help you.



Use the same blending options as you used in step 3 with the following minor adjustments:

A. Uncheck bevel and emboss
B. Uncheck gradient overlay
C. Select colour overlay and use colour #ffffff
D. Make the stroke size 2
